The certification is a new achievement for the 130 year old Buffalo-based manufacturer and confirms the company’s commitment to ongoing continuous improvement.
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Eastman acknowledged the importance of establishing a formal quality policy with well-defined and regularly reviewed processes and procedures. Earning ISO certification better positions the company to serve its global customer base.
